    Title: "Violence of the Doll's"

    Writer: Jonathan M. Sweet

    Penciller: Scott J. Hanna

    Letterer: J. Antwon Shea

    Colorist: Theo A. "Jet" Swann

    Summary
While on a trip to the big Pontotoc flea market, Gene "Fingers" Sampley finds a curious homemade Amish doll. Thinking it would make a spiffy birthday present for his little cousin Sharon, he buys it. Sharon loves her new dolly to death--which seems to be the doll's intent for her as well....

    Notes
The title refers to Jacqueline Susann's best-selling 1966 novel Valley of the Dolls, though in the original book (and film adaptation) the titular "dolls" were barbiturates and mood elevators, not children's toys.

The plot is a nod to the movie Child's Play, with a malevolent doll named Chucky, as well as to episodes of Twilight Zone and Night Gallery that dealt with evil dolls that came to life.
